Business Development Manager

The Business Development Manager will be an innovative and driven individual that play a key role in TVI’s business functions. He/She will provide excellent service to our corporate clients in identifying their human capital needs and design solutions accordingly. The incumbent will be required to use their knowledge, experience and resourcefulness to build sales pipelines and expand business channels.

Job Description

  • Identify and explore new market potential and provide competitive market insights.

Event Sales Officer/ Roadshow Recruitment Officer

The Event Sales Officers/ Roadshow Recruitment Officers are ambassadors of TVI’s lifelong learning spirit. They engage potential learners with excellent service and will assess and recommend courses based on learners’ needs to ensure all our learners will experience a fulfilling and empowering journey with TVI. The incumbent is driven, resilient and always ready to provide excellent service to our clients. This position will represent the core of TVI’s sales function.

Job Description

  • Handle customer enquiries.

  • Demonstrate excellent product knowledge and sales presentation.

  • Approach potential customers through sales canvassing.

  • Process payment for training registrations.

  • Able to deliver customer-centric services in an outdoor environment that is fast-paced.

  • Coordinate and ensure smooth running for events.

  • Execute event logistics and setups according to agreed timelines.

  • Serve as a sales ambassador for lifelong learning.

  • Working locations will mostly be at North, Central and East Singapore.


  • Candidate must possess at least 'O' Level /Diploma and above.

Deputy Director, Pracademy of Technology

The Deputy Director, School of Technology provides the leadership and vision to deliver excellent student outcomes, quality assurance and enhancement, and curriculum innovation that embeds outstanding collaborative working with both the University and Training Vision Institute (TVI). The Central Academic Division (CAD) that manages the departments of Pracademy of Technology and the Pracademy of Business & Language, is part of the TVI’s overall business framework. The Deputy Director, Pracademy of Technology will work closely with other colleagues within your department to manage educators, assessments & awards and student management for all programmes.


Reporting to the Chief Programme Officer of CAD, the incumbent will work closely with other colleagues within CAD and be accountable for the delivery of contractually required retention and progression rates for all programmes. Critically the successful candidate will need to carefully balance the requirements of the CAD alongside the need for compliance, consistency and collaboration with our existing and new University partners. Consequently, the successful candidate will demonstrate recent successful line management experience in an academic/educational context in multiple discipline and have a proven ability to engage with universities for all academic management relation to student admission, assessments and compliance.

Job Description

Heading the Pracademy of Technology (PT) Department

  • Provide powerful and inspirational leadership across CAD, PT, and TVI. As a Deputy Director of PT, there is an expectation that the post holder will perform the role of ‘critical friend’ to other members of the senior team.

  • Contribute to strategic planning and policy development in areas including human resources; academic development; learning, teaching and assessment; and academic quality assurance and enhancement, as part of the CAD’s Team.

  • Provide effective and efficient academic management and co-ordination of staff resources across all-academic and support teams in PT and other CAD stakeholders.

  • Participate in regular meetings with teaching and support staff and represent CAD at appropriate events and meetings within TVI, the partner university and externally.

  • Identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats and identify appropriate actions to solve problems and enhance delivery.


University Partnership, relationship and liaison

  • Articulate and implement a clear vision to drive forward continuous improvement with our university partners for all operational matters relating to student’s admission, assessments and compliance.

  • Communicate and implement a clear vision for the development of the academic partnership with our existing and new university partners, including appropriate articulation routes that maximize opportunities for recruitment to the Delivery Centers locally and internationally.

  • Attend and actively contribute to relevant University Partnership Committees, work with University colleagues through approved liaison points and report regularly on these to the CAD and the TVI Academic Board.



  • Provide academic leadership to programme teams, taking overall responsibility for academic standards, the quality of learning opportunities, and the accuracy and completeness of published information, ensuring that they are managed appropriately and in accordance with the EduTrust policies and procedures.

  • Oversee the effective operation of the PHE and implementation of Programme action plans

  • Lead on ensuring that the PT is fully compliant with our existing and new University partners and relevant external agencies’ quality frameworks, policies, procedures and codes of practice.

  • Monitor progress against actions in the PT Action Plan (PAP); within the PAP there will be cognate actions which will form the Programme Area Enhancement Plans (PREPs), this will be reviewed half-termly and reported on to the CPO of CAD and the TVI Academic Board.

  • As required by CPE, ensure that Quality Assurance is implemented across all academic teams and lead on programme review and the development of the PHE’s Annual Monitoring Report.

  • Analyse data and feedback from a wide variety of sources to monitor progress towards progression targets, planning and implementing remedial actions where necessary.

  • Produce reports, analysis and evaluation for all internal and external scrutiny processes of annual and periodic review as directed by the CPO of CAD.

  • Any other duties as required from time to time by the CPO of CAD.


  • Master degree in IT related subject, Management, Education or equivalent.

  • Having a PhD will be an advantage.

  • Experience in providing leadership in a complex multi-disciplinary environment, with evidence of significant success.

  • Experience in managing and motivating a team of staff to achieve deliverables.

  • Experience in Developing, Facilitating and managing HE courses.

  • Experience in planning and delivering change management and or continuous improvement.

  • Experience of successfully leading on internal communication, which includes disseminating complex messages or changes to operations.

  • Experience of managing support activity and staff in an international Higher Education context.

  • Experience in being a Management Representative in a PEI setting.

  • Strong Written and Oral English.

  • Proficient in Microsoft suite

  • Able to work evenings and weekends occasionally.
