Programme Preview Session
PGDSLI Preview Session
On the evening of 23rd January, prospective students of the Postgraduate Diploma in Digital Strategy, Leadership and Innovation (PGDSLI) programme gathered for a preview session at Training Vision Institute’s (TVI) Paya Lebar campus.
Danny Lee, the Chief Sales and Marketing Officer of TVI opened the session by sharing TVI’s accolades and awards. He introduced the centre as an Approved Training Organisation (ATO) and Private Education Institute with more than 75,000 learners over 28 years. We also had the privilege of having Professor N Venkat Venkatraman from Boston University to do the opening address through a ‘LIVE’ video call.
Through the call, Professor Venkat gave a good overview of the programme and its relevance in today’s digitised and automated world.
Local pracademic and experienced professional Roland Yap from TVI addressed the participants and explained the programme outline in further detail. Participants were encouraged to enrol in the programme to boost their employability, and enhance their digital efficacy. Drawing significance from top companies today, Roland pointed out the importance of developing digital skills and reinventing business processes to successfully navigate today’s world of digital ecosystems. After an informative preview session, participants enjoyed a catered dinner with the opportunity to network.
The PGDSLI is offered by TVI in collaboration with Boston University, which ranks 6th in the list of universities that produce the world’s most employable graduates. Commencing in March this year, it aims to impart digital skills to professionals, enabling them to lead more effectively in today’s changing economy. Through weekly tutorials, local visits to technology companies, video conferences, and consulting seminars, students will master various aspects of digital transformation and leadership, platform strategy and product management, innovation, and data analytics.
