This programme is designed to equip you with knowledge of modern communication tools through hands-on learning. Programme structure - 4 Modules

Module 1: Workplace Literacy (Conversational) (45 hours)

This module covers English Reading, Listening and Speaking skills in both personal and work environments. Learn to understand simple work or day-to-day conversations and verbal instructions, and gain the confidence to interact with colleagues or the public.

 

Module 2: Apply Emotional Competence to Manage Self at the Workplace (16 hours)

Adapt the ability to examine own strengths and weaknesses and be able to assess own emotional intelligence in one's dealings and relationships with others in a business context.

 

Module 3: Maintain Personal Presentation and Employability at Operations Level (16 hours)

This module will teach you how to best present yourself by identifying personal competencies and determine personal career. Learn the skills to select jobs that best match you and prepare for job interviews. 

 

Module 4: Communicate and Relate Effectively at the Workplace (16 hours)

Gain the skills to successfully interpret and analyse information received, respond to information taking into account the background of recipient appropriately. Learn to negotiate for mutually acceptable solutions during conflicts and communicate outcome of negotiation to supervisor with justification.
